HISTORY
- Established as a branch of Euhaw Baptist Church in 1795
- Chartered as The Baptist Church of Beaufort in 1804
- Steady growth throughout most of its post-Civil War history
- Promising growth between 1995 and into 2009
- Has established (10) local churches and (2) language missions
- Downtown, regional church of 1200 resident members
- Significant sanctuary renovation completed in 1998
- 2009 budget of $1,051,000

- Strong core of mature and senior leaders, active 20 or more years
- Increasingly active and developing group of young adults in leadership

- Present student ministry consists of 62 on roll

- Two complete Sunday morning worship services – one traditional and one contemporary

- Youth Choir and Handbell ensemble
