VBS – This past summer our children participated in the Jeruselum Marketplace Vacation Bible School. They had a great time learning about God through Bible stories, crafts, music and recreation. We had wonderful volunteers from the church who helped to make the marketplace a great experience for the children.

OPEN HOUSE – October 10th we had our first morning Open House event. It was a great success with about 90%of our parents attending. The staff provided wonderful refreshments, they displayed the WEE Learn Curriculum and allowed parents to experience the many aspects of their children’s morning of learning in preschool. Parents read stories, played with playdoh, created art projects and participated in group time. Ms. Loretta Fleming from the Clemson Extension set up a display table with brochures and healthy, tasty snacks to show parents what she is teaching the children during her nutrician class twice a month in our pre-k program.

TRIKE-A-THON – The children in our Pre-Three class and Pre-K 3 & 4 class participated in the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital Trike-A-Thon fund raiser. They had a great time brining their bikes from home and riding around the parking lot to raise money for the hospital. Total raised is not in yet, but we will let you know in November just how much they raised.
