WORSHIP
WORSHIPing through Bible Study/Faith Development:
6. Weekly Middle School Bible Study (Wednesday night @ 6:00) 7. Weekly High School Bible Study (Wednesday night @7:00)
8. Sunday Worship Experiences (Sunday @ 9:00 am and 11:15 am)
Purpose
• To help students encounter Christ through Bible study and to make spiritual disciplines (especially daily quiet time) a theme throughout our discussions.
• To use a building block approach that will give students a foundational knowledge of the essential Christian doctrines and help them become worldview missionaries prepared to move beyond informational learning.
• Develop leadership training based on the needs of group leaders and on the overall concept of spiritual formation. (Training should be creative, purposeful, worthwhile, and fit the leader’s schedule.)
• Youth Worship- To create a worship environment where students feel free to worship Christ in their own way and are led in worship by other students.
• To show students that Christianity is real and that it is bigger than any of their problems through current, relevant, Christ-centered curriculum that challenges them to grow.
• To equip students to think critically and act upon the issues facing their generation. To lead students to own their faith and be able to defend it.
• To rekindle a sense of wonder among students in the faith that God has given us through curriculum that forces students to look critically and comprehensively at their faith.
• To see students passionate about Christ.
