At The Baptist Church of Beaufort, missions is more than just a program or trips, it lives in the DNA of our community of faith. We desire to constantly challenge and push ourselves to be “Missional Christians in a Missional Church.” This means that because the gift of salvation and the call to missions are one and the same The Baptist Church of Beaufort is passionate about saying “yes” to God’s call and mission in our lives. As we live lives of obedience to Jesus, God transforms our lives more into the image of Jesus. As God transforms, God also sends us out as missionaries in our world. Being Missional Christians in a Missional Church means we help everyone live their lives as Christian missionaries in the world.
Being Missional Christians in a Missional Church also means that we see The Baptist Church of Beaufort as a world wide mission center. We exist to touch the world with the Good News of Jesus. To do this we have developed an Acts 1:8 mission strategy. Acts 1:8 says: “As the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the Earth.” Through our Acts 1:8 mission strategy, The Baptist Church of Beaufort has established mission partnerships with communities in our local (“Jerusalem”), regional (“Judea”), national (“Samaria”), and international (“Ends of the Earth”) mission fields. Our reciprocal relationships allow God to transform us as He transforms the communities. Many of our GO mission trips each year are with these mission partners.
