Missional opportunities are all around us. Here is a sampling of opportunities. If you are interested in joining any of the following mission opportunities, please contact the church office at 524-3197 or Eric Spivey at espivey@bcob.org

Our Jerusalem Opportunities
• BCOB Missional VBS (Each June): Work with our Children’s Ministry as a generational missionary.
• Hispanic Ministry (weekly): Work with our Hispanic missionary as an ESL teacher, worship leader or volunteer on Sunday afternoons.
• Migrant Ministry & VBS (June): Work to bring Jesus to migrant workers through revivals and family ministry.
• Child Abuse Prevention Agency (CAPA): Work with this community agency with fund raising, thrift store and other opportunities.
• Habitat for Humanity: Volunteer with building homes, assisting Habitat families, or with the Habitat restore.
• LowCountry Ministries: Volunteer with summer missionaries, resort ministries and community projects.
• Multi-housing Ministries: Volunteer with children and families in local apartments to help them experience Jesus through activities, games, and Bible Studies
• Parris Island Military Ministry: Teach new Christian classes on Sundays with Marine recruits.
• Hope Haven: Volunteer to help children and adults hurt by sexual abuse.
• Operation Inasmuch (Each September): Plan now to remember 9/11 by serving our community with God’s love. There is a place for everyone – all ages.
• Souper Friday Nights: Serve supper on Friday nights in a local park for our unseen homeless community.
• Family Promise: Homeless Ministry: Volunteer with a new homeless ministry where we will house homeless families in our Fellowship Hall. Volunteers needed to help with food and housing.
• Operation Good Neighbor Block By Block Renovation Project: Handymen needed to help renovated homes in our neighboring community. Work needed through the year.
• Operation Good Neighbor: OGN is a partnership with 7 other downtown churches to minister in our immediate community. Ministry leadership is needed with children, housing, feeding, medical, and renovation.

Our Judea
• Daufuskie Island VBS (Each June): Volunteer for a week or ½ week as we lead the island VBS.
• Our Regional Partnership Team is working on our new regional partner in 2007.

Our Samaria
• Kentucky Mission trip (Spring): Join team leader Larry Leming in this multi-church, multi-opportunity mission trip through the Savannah River Baptist Association
• Our National Partnership Team is working on our new national partner in 2007.

Our Ends of the Earth
• Our Global Partnership Team is working on our new Global partner in 2007.
